Subdomains
A subdomain is a domain created as a part of a higher level domain. It can be used as an additional site to your main one. Subdomains are a great solution when you need several websites for temporary advertising campaigns or for branches of one company in different cities.
Our platform owns flexbe.com where flexbe is the second level domain. Our Help knowledge base is hosted on a separate site with a help.flexbe.com subdomain. You can name a subdomain as you see fit.
NOTE
To create a subdomain, you must have your own domain.

How to set up a subdomain
Setup of a subdomain depends on the hosting of your domain and subdomain. There are three possible scenarios:
1. If both your domain (through NS servers) and subdomain are hosted by Flexbe, it’s enough to specify the subdomain name in the settings of the required site. The setup will be done automatically.
2. If your domain is hosted by a third-party registrar and your subdomain will be hosted on Flexbe, then you should specify the CNAME record of your subdomain in the hosting settings of the primary domain. The CNAME record of each site is unique and corresponds to its technical address.
To learn the technical address of your subdomain, go to the Settings -> Domains.
Enter the technical address as a CNAME-record in the DNS-records control panel of your primary domain registrar. The dot at the end of the address is mandatory (see the example below).
3. If your domain is set on Flexbe and your subdomain will operate with a third-party hosting service, then you should send the CNAME or A record to the Flexbe support chart that your hosting service will provide for the subdomain. We'll specify the records of the subdomain in your primary domain settings.
If you encounter any difficulties, you can send the access to the hosting of your primary domain to our support service chat and we will set up the CNAME records for you.
