Global header and footer
Global headers and footers are created using Global sections. They are displayed identically on all site's pages where you've added them. If you change one global header, its duplicates on other pages are updated automatically.
This article describes how to create global headers, global footers are created in the same way.
Adding a global header
1. Add a header.
To add a header, click the + icon above any section.
Choose any header template.
2. Then click the ellipsis icon in the top right corner of the header and select Make global.
You can either make your header global and then customize it, or customize it first and then make it global.
3. To change your logo, copy, background and other header settings, click Edit in the top right corner.
The editor of global sections opens in a new window. Customize the header as you like: modify any element, add new ones or delete them. When you finish editing, click Save.
4. Now you can add your global header to other site's pages. To do this, click the + icon, go to the Global sections tab and select your header.
Deleting a global header
Deleting any global header from one page doesn't affect its duplicates on other pages. If you delete this header from the Global sections tab, it will be deleted from all other site's pages.
