Domains
To connect and transfer domains, go to Domains in the site settings. Click Add domain, then enter the name in the search line (for example, mysite.com).
A domain can be registered only after the main account has been paid.
If a domain is free, you can proceed to purchasing.
To transfer your domain to Flexbe, go to your hosting control panel and change the old DNS servers for the new ones.
If you are situated in the United States, Canada, South America, Australia, East Asia,
these servers will suit:
- ns1.flexbe.com
- ns2.flexbe.com
- ns3.flexbe.net
If you are situated in Europe, Africa, West and Central Asia up to Thailand,
these servers will suit:
- ns1.flexbe.net
- ns2.flexbe.net
- ns3.flexbe.com
Transfer of an old domain or activation of a new domain may take up to 2 days. To transfer your Flexbe domain to another registrar, contact the support service.
To contact Flexbe support service, go to Help in the top right corner.
A subdomain (for example, blog.mysite.com) is a separate site. You can add a subdomain in Settings → Domain → Add domain.
If your domain is registered with Flexbe, it’s enough to specify the subdomain name in the settings of the required site.
If your domain is registered with the third-party registrar, then, in the DNS zone settings of your domain, you should enter u.flexbe.net. (the dot at the end of the record is mandatory) into CNAME records for the subdomain.
If your domain is configured on Flexbe and your subdomain will operate on the third-party hosting, then you need to send CNAME records or A records to Flexbe support service. These records will be provided by the registrar which will host your subdomain.
